Discussions focused on the recognition of Indigenous and traditional territories, land rights, community governance models, and the integration of Indigenous knowledge into biodiversity protection policy.<\/p>\n<p>Held ahead of the first meeting of the SB8J (SB8J-1), the workshop brought together representatives of states, Indigenous peoples, and local communities, as well as specialized organizations.
